London Calling hosted music industry receptions for the following countries:
Chinese Music Industry Reception:
A must attend session for any delegates who wished to access the Chinese music market. They were able to meet and network with over 60 Chinese delegates and watch a fascinating presentation, led by Mr. Zhu Qi Hui, Vice Director of Administrative Department of Audio & Video and Internet Publication in General Administration on Press and Publication of People's Republic of China,on the current state of the Chinese music industry and the opportunities it offers.

Pan-Caribbean Music Industry Reception:
Hosting delegates from Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago, the Pan-Caribbean music industry reception gave London Calling delegates the chance to meet and network with representatives from this diverse and exciting region and to discover the opportunities it has to offer at a music market presentation on the Caribbean music industry.

Nigerian Music Industry Reception:
At the Nigerian reception at London Calling 2008, delegates had the opportunity to meet and network with the delegates from across all sectors of the Nigerian music industry. Delegates were given the chance to discover how the Nigerian music market works and the opportunities it presents for international music companies to do business at a music market presentation, hosted by British Council International Young Music Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 Award winner, Audu Maikori from Chocolate City Ltd.
